As of today the FCC has repealed its NN rules. I think this is a great thing. It is not the government’s job to play network administrator of the internet. It has no legitimate claim to the property of ISPs, it lacks the expertise, and it has no incentive to be a good steward. (more…)

Trump’s birth control executive order [Video]

The Affordable Healthcare Act is terribly written. Many covered goods and services, like birth control, mandated by the law are determined by bureaucrats and therefore can change administration to administration. Trump has recently moved to expand the “religious liberty” exception to requiring employers to purchase insurance plans that provide “free” birth control for their employees. (more…)

National unity as the new slavery

The turmoil surrounding the 2016 Presidential election has accelerated the deepening chasm between the left and the right. As a free market anarchist, I get to observe this insanity from a relatively safe distance. It is a common subject for social commentators, politicians, and even the occasional Facebook friend. Each of them urging for more unity and patriotism; successfully signaling their faux enlightenment to the world without saying anything of substance. In contrast, I would say that we have entirely too much unity. (more…)
