You can not legislate the minds of employers into acting how you want them to. To try to do so proves that you are not capable and likely are not worthy of the level of income that you are striving for. Do not worry about the incomes of other women that you do not know. Worry about yours. By planting your feet and breaking through whatever barrier you perceive to be holding you down you pave the way for other women and actually close the “pay gap” by increasing yours.
Of course there is the whole thing about the pay gap being a complete myth. Maybe reading up on that is the first thing you should do.
